Facciamo un salto in avanti di tre anni. Nel 1993 esce Last action hero, film interpretato da Arnold Schwarzenegger forse non molto riuscito con il pregio però di risultare molto autoironico. Una scanzonata presa in giro dei vari action in voga all'epoca.
Colonna sonora con molto materiale interessante, dal metal dei Megadeth al Grunge degli Alice in Chains, dal classico rock degli Ac/Dc ai più melodici Def Leppard, etc...
Nel Cd è presente anche una delle migliori rock ballad di tutti i tempi (ovviamente a mio modestissimo parere) che è anche uno dei più bei pezzi composti da Steven Tyler degli Aerosmith. Ancora da venire i tempi del declino e della rinascita, i Toxic-Twins Tyler e Perry regalavano pezzi come questo.
